Mom and Dad arrived 2 days before New Years Eve.  They came to stay for a week and enjoy the warm weather that sunny California has to offer in December.  They have never been here over the holidays before and we were so happy to have them join us and share in our festivities!  
On New Years Eve, we ordered Chinese take-out and enjoyed a couple rounds of our new game "Telestrations".  Grandma and Grandpa were so funny and we discovered that Grandma is a good sketch artist and Grandpa draws just like Jonathan and I do - it is genetic!!  Jonathan and Hannah left to go to the church dance and we were happy to have Caleb's friend Dallin Gubernick join us.



We broke out the "Rock Band" for Playstation and took turns on the drums, guitar and vocals.  Grandma
tried the drums and found that it was really good exercise for her hand.  It was fun to play this again.

Getting ready for the countdown.  Mom had a tambourine that was perfect in her shaking hand.  We giggled watching her make noise without even trying.

We had our traditional pop-it war in the street and it was fun to include Grandpa and Matt.

 The day after New Years was a beautiful sunny day.  Brittany and Matt wanted to go downtown to the Pier and to get Pazookies at B.J.'s.  We took the time to get some nice pictures.
