HI Buena Park in the 09 Relay for Life
Originally uploaded by hibuenaparkThis was the 10th annual Relay for Life held here in Buena Park. Buena Park High School has again graciously donated the track and field to hold the event and many BP business contributed food, drink and time. For the past three years the Holiday Inn Buena park has donated the survivor breakfast on opening day and participated in the walk. The Holiday Inns favorite DJ Mr.. Benny Perez (our bell captain) has again donated his time and talent to entertain at this event. This year we raised in excess of $20,000.00. The opening lap was walked by survivors, care givers, and families of those who did not survive. Once that was done It was a very festive day with many activities for both children and adults. It was heart warming to see the the attendance and the donations were wonderful in this struggling economy.
