Sacred Heart seventh-grader Miranda Washinawato, was recently benched for saying "i love you" to fellow team mates in her native tongue. The student was reprehended for her tone in saying it, and the fact that the teacher was unaware of what she was truly saying. This can be a good lesson for us as we have recently been talking about this in chapel. We need to be sure to lift others up in all we say and do, outside of merely our words. The tone of a supposed "kind" statement can completely change the intention of the comment. So, lets all come together as a school, and lift each other up in kindness and in love.
